Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi +

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our professional English- speaking driver/guide and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi for check-in. Enjoy a relaxing evening after your long journey.

Day 2: Nairobi – Maasai Mara Game Reserve +

After breakfast, depart Nairobi via Mai Mahiu – Narok route. A brief stop will be made at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for breathtaking photography and cultural experiences. Proceed to Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. In the evening, embark on your first game drive across the reserve’s golden plains, home to Africa’s Big Five and abundant wildlife.

Day 3 & 4: Full Day Game Drive – Maasai Mara +

After breakfast, set out for a full day of game drives in the vast Maasai Mara. With packed picnic lunches, explore the reserve in search of the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—along with cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and over 200 bird species. Optional activity: Hot Air Balloon Safari followed by bush breakfast (extra cost).

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park +

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, head for a game drive across the park’s woodlands and grass plains. Expect to see endangered black and white rhinos, tree-climbing lions, giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species, including flamingos (seasonal).

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park +

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Amboseli National Park with lunch en route. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge. Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants and its iconic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 7: Full Day Amboseli National Park +

Spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park. With packed lunches, enjoy uninterrupted wildlife viewing. Amboseli is home to elephants, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, hippos, predators, and over 400 bird species. On clear days, marvel at breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro towering in the background.

Day 8: Amboseli – Nairobi +

After breakfast, check out and enjoy a short en-route game drive as you exit Amboseli. Drive back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at your hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
